Garden Tiles

Match tiles. Mend gardens.

A cozy mahjong solitaire about bringing a village's gardens back to life, one pair at a time.

How it plays

Match. Clear. Bloom.

  1. 1.Match

Tap two tiles with the same picture. A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and one of its sides is open.

  2. 2.Clear

Take the whole board, pair by pair. Every board you clear pays out seeds.

  3. 3.Bloom

Each cleared board mends or plants one thing in the garden, and the story moves on.

Drag to bring it back

Nana's cottage

Twenty-four boards, one garden.

Every board you clear repairs or plants one thing: the brambles cleared, the gate fixed, the beds dug, then a birdbath, a bench, a beehive, even a cat. Twenty-four boards later, the garden Wren's grandmother loved is back in bloom.

Nana's journal has a page for every garden.

The village

Meet the gardeners of Bramblewick.

When her grandmother dies, Wren Hartley comes home to Bramblewick and finds Nana's seed journal, half finished. Garden by garden, she helps the village bring its gardens back, and follows the journal toward the rose her grandmother lost.

Friends

Garden with friends.

Everyone in Bramblewick has a name with a number, like Wren#1234. Tap Share in Friends to send yours as a link: when your friend opens it, Garden Tiles opens Friends with your name already filled in, and one tap sends the request.

  • It works from any chat app, and if they don't have the game yet, the link takes them to their store first.
  • Your friends get their own tab on the Garden Show leaderboard, and you can see each other's gardener cards.
  • A request needs the full name with its number, and the leaderboard only ever shows the name, so nobody can send you one from there.
